Rubin was originally drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round of the 2008 Draft. The former Iowa State Cyclone spent his first seven seasons in the league with the Browns, playing in 99 games with 75 starts. During that time, he posted 338 tackles, 12.0 sacks, one interception, five passes defensed, and three forced fumbles.
In 2015, Rubin was signed by the Seattle Seahawks and played and started in all 32 games over two seasons, tallying 75 tackles, three sacks, one interception and three forced fumbles. Rubin spent time with the Denver Broncos earlier this season.
